The Seaward Arc

Leaving Nordfeld with a group of smugglers and pirates, the party travels to the western coastal city of Stilbourgh, where a local election is happening. In the early morning, the fireworks barge to commemorate the election is set ablaze and explodes, leaving the city in chaos. It is quickly discovered that the explosion was just a distraction for the theft of a large piece of Furven-Tech that keeps the water from flooding into the city, the culprits holding the city itself hostage. After the party tracks down members of the ransomers, they confront and defeat its mastermind, saving the city.

Now at sea with the Captain, the party runs into a mysterious island, which houses an ancient pirate tomb, belonging to the Pirate Lord Ira. Descending into the depth of the crypt, the party overcomes numerous obstacles to finally earn the pirate’s treasure. They return to sea and arrive at the city of Krebstadt, where they plan to board the Captain’s ship to Ironvale. However, they find themselves embroiled in a deadly rivalry between Nines and his old bandmate and popular performer The Voice. Barely escaping from the strangely threatening pop star, the party sets off again to finally get to their destination, the Kormer Republic.
